Richard “Ricky” L. Adams is an associate attorney with O’Byrne Law, LLC, focusing his practice in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate, Probate & Trust Administration, Adult Guardianship, and Special Needs Planning. Ricky’s approach to the practice of law incorporates a holistic and compassionate form of advocacy. He enjoys working with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and needs, and his practice includes assisting with the legal needs of same-sex couples and other members of the LGBTQ community.
Eric S. Steiner is the managing member of Steiner Law Group, LLC, focusing his practice on consumer and commercial bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and asset protection. He is the Treasurer of the LGBT Bar Association of Maryland, NGLCC certified as a minority-owned business, and a proud member of the Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce. He practices with empathy, while acting as a fierce advocate for his clients.
Alexa Bertinelli is a Senior Staff Attorney with Civil Justice, Inc., where she oversees the Economic Justice Project and leads Civil Justice’s in-house consumer litigation. Alexa handles both individual and class cases that challenge a variety of abusive business practices, including wrongful evictions and auto-fraud. Prior to joining Civil Justice, Alexa worked as a staff attorney for Maryland Legal Aid for nearly six years, focusing primarily on housing and consumer law matters. Alexa has been recognized for her advocacy on behalf of low income Marylanders. In 2016, she was honored with the Diane Kinslow Award by Maryland Legal Aid and in 2017, she received The Daily Record’s Leading Women Award. Outside of work, Alexa engages in a number of professional activities in support of her community. Alexa serves on the board of the Neighborhood Design Center. In addition, Alexa is the former president of the LGBTQ Bar of Maryland and is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association, serving on the Editorial Advisory Board and Delivery of Legal Services Section Council. Alexa received her J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 2011 and her B.A. from the University of Arizona in 2006.
