Washington, DC – The National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC), the business voice of the LGBT community, is proud to recognize excellence achieved by NGLCC Local Affiliate Chambers at the 2018 NGLCC International Business and Leadership Conference by naming the Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce the 2018 Rising Star Chamber. Each year, the Rising Star is seen as a role model for other new chambers and raises the bar for impacting the LGBT business community where they live and work.
The Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce is jumping into our second year of programming and outreach with over 100 Members and a jam-packed schedule of networking and educational events planned for 2018-2019! Our founding Board has done an amazing job of launching the Chamber and creating the momentum we need to become an integral part of the economic fabric in Maryland. We have just voted in our new executive Board members for the May 2018 – May 2019 term:

The Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce, launched in June of 2017, is hosting its First Annual Business Expo on Wednesday, March 28th from 4-8 pm at the Zoo Mansion House, 1876 Mansion House Drive, Baltimore, MD 21217. Attendance for all is complimentary but ticket reservations are encouraged as the event will top off at 180 attendees. Members of the MD LGBT Chamber of Commerce were invited to present their business or services at the Expo. The Expo will feature over 50 MD LGBT member companies, and will kickoff with Keynote Speaker Senator Rich Madaleno, Maryland State Senator from Montgomery County and candidate for Governor, at 4:15 pm. In addition, the Expo will present ten different 30- minute sessions on a variety of topics by our member companies.
BALTIMORE, May 8, 2017 — Maryland’s LGBT business owners now have a new advocate in the state through the Maryland LGBT Chamber of Commerce. The newly formed chamber is an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and gay-allied businesses, professionals and individuals throughout the state of Maryland.
